At St. Joseph’s High School, Nakirebe, our curriculum is designed to provide learners with comprehensive, relevant, and competency-based education that nurtures academic excellence, creativity, and critical thinking. We follow the Uganda National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) guidelines and UNEB assessment standards.
✅ Ordinary Level (S.1 – S.4)
Provides a broad foundation in sciences, humanities, and vocational subjects.- Sciences: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics
- Languages: English, Kiswahili, Luganda, Literature
- Humanities: History, Geography, CRE
- Vocational: ICT, Technical Drawing, Entrepreneurship, Art & Design, PE
✅ Advanced Level (S.5 – S.6)
Offers subject specialization based on career interests with an emphasis on analysis and application.- Science Combinations: PCM, PCB, PEM, MEG, BCM
- Arts Combinations: HEG, HLD, LEG, HEL
- Extras: ICT, TD, Fine Art, Sub-Math
🤝 Co-Curricular Activities
We support the new Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC) with group work, real-life projects, and digital learning methods.
We believe in nurturing the whole student. Our co-curricular program develops leadership, creativity, fitness, and confidence. Students are encouraged to join at least one activity per term.
